American gothic / dream-folk artist Marissa Nadler just released the follow-up to her well-received 2009 disc Little Hells and is playing a short run of headlining dates in support of the new release. This new self-titled release came out of Nadler's Box of Cedar label and The Tune described the new disc as "a delicately-crafted affair executed with poise and grace -- this music is nothing short of brilliant."Marissa released her last two albums on Kemado (and Mexican Summer, which was named after one of her songs), and decided to venture out on her own for this new album. She financed the recording through a successful Kickstarter campaign, and has sold her own handmade albums through Etsy. After performing several dates with Low and Timber Timbre, she'll be embarking on a headlining tour throughout July with Faces On Film.
