Ward's debut solo album Quiet In The Valley, On The Shores The End Begins & The Electric Six was released on August 8th via his own Tembloroso Recordings. The album is a compilation of his acoustic solo EP trilogy - 2007's "Quiet", 2009's "In The Valley, On The Shores", 2011's "The End Begins" - paired with an additional disc of select tracks gone electric. To kick off the tour, the electric version of album track "Take It Back" is now available as a free MP3 download (download link above). Ward also made a video for "Broken Songs (electric)" with director Zach Passero.
The ever-busy Ward - who already co-owns a bar, The Hope and Anchor, and recording studio, Clap of Thunder, in his hometown of El Paso - recently opened a new downtown venue, Tricky Falls, which also features a separate bar, Bowie Feathers, on the second floor. Sparta will play their first show since 2008 at the venue on November 17th; tickets for the show are available here.
